    Configure Network Share to keep, delete or transfer files

    Configure Network Share to keep, delete or transfer files

    FortiSandbox can scan files stored in a network share folder and quarantine files of any rating. You can also create and edit quarantine locations in the Security Fabric. However, enabling the Keep a copy of the original file on FortiSandbox option in Network Share settings may skip some files depending on the Quarantine settings.

    To ensure you are keeping, deleting, and transferring files according to your requirements, review the following information.

    Clean files

    Requirements

    Go to Security Fabric > Network Share

    Go to Security Fabric > Quarantine

    Keep the original files at the original location without any change after Network Share scan
    Enable copying or moving clean files to a sanitized location Disable
    Leave a File At Source Location Enable
    A Copy of Original File Enable

    Keep the original files at the original location and copy them to the sanitized location after each Network Share scan

    Enable copying or moving clean files to a sanitized location Enable
    Keep a copy of clean files for every scheduled scan Enable
    Leave a File At Source Location Enable
    A Copy of Original File Enable

    Keep the original files at the original location and copy them to the sanitized location after the first time Network Share scan
