Adding users
Administrators can add new user accounts. Before you add new users, define access templates to select in the user accounts. See Access templates.
You can add new user accounts using either email addresses or Identity and Access Management (IAM) details.
To add a user account using email:
- Access Profile Settings, and click the Users page. The users are displayed.
- Click the Add User button. The User Info page is displayed.
- Enable Email toggle and complete the following options, and click Next.
The Permissions page is displayedName
Type a name for the user.
Mobile
Type the mobile phone number for the user.
API Key
Displays the automatically generated API key for the user.
Email
Type the email address, and select the domain for the user.
Role
Select one of the following roles:
- User: gives the user access to the modules defined to their account.
- Guest: gives the user read-only access to the modules defined to their account.
- Admin: gives the user access to the modules defined to their account and administrative access over other accounts.
- Select a User Template from the dropdown. The Main Modules, Sub Modules, and Access are adjusted to the template's settings.
- Click Save. The user is created.
To add an IAM user:
- Access Profile Settings, and click the Users page. The users are displayed.
- Click the Add User button. The User Info page is displayed.
- Enable IAM toggle and complete the following options, and click Next. IAM user must be created in support.forticloud.com. See Adding IAM Users.

Enter the configured IAM user name.
IAM Accountid
Enter IAM account id.
Name
Type a name for the user.
Mobile
