Restore system configuration using the provided username across the given protocol from the remote host, port, and filepath. You are prompted for the password.

Usage

restore ‑u <username> <protocol> <host> <port> <filepath> <overwrite_license>

Arguments

filepath

Specify the location of the file on the remote host.

host

Specify the remote host, which may be an IP address or fully qualified domain name.

overwrite_license

Specify one of the following:

  • true: Restore from the backup and overwrite the license using the data from the backup.

  • false: Restore from the backup but retain the local license.

port

Enter the port to connect to on the remote host.

protocol

Enter the protocol to use for the transfer.

The following values are accepted:

  • ftp

  • tftp

  • sftp

  • scp

username

Specify the username to use for the transfer. You are prompted for the password.
