Configuration
View or edit the configuration for each managed WAN extender device.
The following actions are available:
To edit an extender:
- In WAN> Configuration > Managed Extenders, select an item from the list and click Edit .
- In the form, update the following information:

Serial number
Displays the device serial number.
This field is read-only.
Mode
Displays the extender mode.
This field is read-only.
Profile
Displays the extender profile.
This field is read-only.
To use a custom profile for this extender, contact your system administrator.
Status
Y
Specify the authorization status.
Select from the following options:

Authorize
Override Management Access

Enable or disable overriding management access permission, then select the access to allow.
Override Login Password

Enable or disable login password override, then specify the password.
Modem n Interface
Y
Select the interface for this modem.

Click Save.
To add or edit an extender profile:

In WAN> Configuration > Profiles:

Click Create New to add a new extender profile.

Select an item from the list and click Edit to edit an existing extender profile.

This option is only available when Mode is set to LAN Extension.
Uplink Port

Select an upllink port from the list of click Create to add a new uplink port. See To add or edit an uplink port.
This option is only available when Mode is set to LAN Extension.
Modem n
N The number of modems varies by selected model.
Default SIM
N Select the SIM to use for this modem.
If Carrier is selected, enter the Preferred carrier.
SIM 1 PIN
N Enable disable a PIN for SIM 1, then enter a PIN.
SIM 1 PIN
N Enable disable a PIN for SIM 1, then enter a PIN.
GPS
N Enable or disable GPS.
Auto SIM Switch
N Select when SIMs should be switched.
By disconnecting
N Enable or disable switching by disconnecting, then enter the Disconnect threshold and Disconnect checking period.
By signal
N Enable or disable switching by signal.
By data plan
N Enable or disable switching by data plan.
Controller Report
N Enable or disable the controller report, then enter the Interval and Signal Threshold for reporting.

Click Save.
The extender profile is created and added to the list.
To add or edit an uplink port:
- In the WAN extender profile form, in Uplink Port:
- Click Create New to add a new uplink port.
- Select an item from the list and click Edit to edit an existing uplink port.
- In the form, enter or update the following information:

To add or edit a WAN extender data plan:

In WAN > Configuration > Data Plans, select a Site and Device then do one of the following:
- Click Create to add a new data plan.
- Select an item from the list and click Edit to edit an existing extender.

Enter the preferred DHCP subnet to use for connections.

Enter the access point name (APN) of the SIM card.
Private network

Enable or disable blocking all non-NATed traffic.
Monthly data limit

Specify, in MB, the monthly data limit for this plan.
Monthly cost
Y
Specify the monthly cost.
Billing reset day
Y
Enter the day of the month when billing resets.
Overage

Enable or disable allowing data overage.
Signal Threshold

Specify the signal-strength threshold beyond which SIM switch will occur.
Signal Period
Y
Enter the length of time (from 600 to 18000 seconds) for SIM switch to occur when signal strength remains below the set signal threshold for more than half of the set period.

The data plan is saved.
