Create or edit a profile
To create or edit a profile:

In System > Profiles:
- Click Create to create a new profile.
- Select a profile and click Edit to edit the profile.
When editing a profile, the fields are the same as those that appear when creating a profile, except that Profile Type cannot be changed.
- Enter or update the following information:

Enter a unique name for the role.

Provider or Customer. Customer is synonymous with "organization".
Access Permissions

Select None, Read, Read/Write, or Custom permissions for this profile. Not all components offer custom permissions. If Custom is selected, sub-component permissions display.
For customer profiles:
You may specify per-widget access permissions for the widgets that appear in Insights > Dashboard.
You may limit access to SD-WAN rules, policies, static routes, and firewall objects through filters. See Using comment and name-based filters.
Hide the Install button for read-only profiles. See Setting visibility of the install button.
- Click Save.
