Add a FortiManager

Add a FortiManager

Assuming that you have already created a dedicated admin user for FortiPortal on the FortiManager and configured the FortiManager as described in Basic setup, do the following to add a FortiManager:

  1. In Devices > FortiManager, click Create.
  2. Input the fields, as described in Edit a FortiManager.
  3. Click Add.

When you add a FortiManager, FortiPortal polls the FortiManager immediately to obtain information about its managed devices. FortiPortal subsequently polls the FortiManager at the configured polling frequency.

Add a FortiManager

Assuming that you have already created a dedicated admin user for FortiPortal on the FortiManager and configured the FortiManager as described in Basic setup, do the following to add a FortiManager:

  1. In Devices > FortiManager, click Create.
  2. Input the fields, as described in Edit a FortiManager.
  3. Click Add.

When you add a FortiManager, FortiPortal polls the FortiManager immediately to obtain information about its managed devices. FortiPortal subsequently polls the FortiManager at the configured polling frequency.
