Upgrading on AWS

Upgrading on AWS

Due to some fundamental changes, upgrading FortiPortal on AWS directly from 6.0.11 to 6.0.12 does not work.

Please follow the procedure below:

  1. 1. Shutdown the 6.0.11 instance.

  2. 2. Bootup a new 6.0.12 instance and point to the previous database.

  3. 3. Reload the license.

Tooltip

  • Upgrading directly from 6.0.10 to 6.0.12 is possible for both AWS and VM.

  • Upgrading directly from 6.0.11 to 6.0.12 is possible for VM only.

Upgrading on AWS
