VLANs /Interfaces

On the Arista Cloud Wireless Controller, Dynamic VLANs are assigned per SSID. When hosts connect to the wireless network, FortiNAC assigns the hosts to those VLAN interfaces. Note: Use VLAN IDs instead of VLAN Names.

Create the interfaces that correspond to the host states desired to enforce, including:

Default (production)

Registration

Quarantine

Authentication

Dead-end (disabled)

The supplied VLANs need to be defined on the switch trunk port to which the Access Point is connected. Provide the IP address of a DHCP server for each one. FortiNAC typically provides DHCP services for the isolation networks (Registration, Quarantine, etc). If using FortiNAC as the DHCP server, the DHCP server IP address should correspond to FortiNAC Isolation Interface or eth1.
