metadata

Use this command to add additional information fields to the administrator accounts of your FortiManager unit.

This command creates the metadata fields. Use config system admin user to add data to the metadata fields.

Syntax

config system metadata admins

edit <fieldname>

set field_length {20 | 50 | 255}

set importance {optional | required}

set status {enabled | disabled}

end

Variable

Description

<fieldname>

Enter the name of the field.

field_length {20 | 50 | 255}

Select the maximum number of characters allowed in this field. Default: 50

importance {optional | required}

Select if this field is required or optional when entering standard information. Default: optional

status {enabled | disabled}

Enable/disable the metadata. Default: disable
