system checkused

Use these commands to determine if a configuration object is referenced by another part of the configuration, such as policies or profiles.

Syntax

diagnose system checkused <path.object.mkey>

Variable

<path.object.mkey>

Enter a configuration object ID, such as profile.antivirus.

For a list of valid IDs, .see tablesize.html for the FortiMail firmware version on the Fortinet Support website.

Example

FortiMail # diagnose system checkused profile.antivirus

System Time:  2025-05-28 11:14:22 EDT (Uptime: 20d 0h 11m)
May be used by recipient:<id>:profile-antivirus
May be used by ip:<index>:profile-antivirus
