Route all outbound mail from Google Workspace through FortiMail

This topic describes how to route all messages from your Google Workspace domain through FortiMail performing as the gateway server.

  1. Navigate back to the Settings for Gmail screen and click Advanced settings.

  2. From the General Settings tab, hover over the Routing section and click Configure.

  3. Enter a mandatory short description for the new routing setting.

  4. Under Messages to affect, enable Outbound.

  5. Optionally, under Envelope filter, enable Only affect specific envelope recipients.

  6. From the drop-down menu, select Pattern match, and enter a suitable Regexp pattern (in this example, .*@live\.cn).

  7. Further down, under Route, enable Change route, and select the mail route host you created in the previous topic (in this example, fmlcloud).

  8. Click Add Setting.
