GTPv2 message rate limiting

GTPv2 message rate limiting

In a GTP profile, you can use the following command to apply GTPv2 message rate limiting.

config firewall gtp

edit <name>

config message-rate-limit-v2

set echo-request <limit>

set create-session-request <limit>

set delete-session-request <limit>

end

From the GUI:

  1. Create or edit a GTP profile.

  2. Open GTPv2 Message Rate Limit.

  3. Add limits for the message types that you want to limit.

Where, <limit> is the message limit in packets per second. The range is 0 to 4294967295. The default for all message types is 0, which is no rate limiting.
