hw-ha-scan-interval

hw-ha-scan-interval <interval>

On FortiGates with NP7 processors in an FGCP HA cluster, you can configure FGCP hardware session synchronization to periodically re-synchronize hardware sessions between the primary and secondary FortiGates.

config system npu

set hw-ha-scan-interval <interval>

end

<interval> the time interval between re-synchronizing hardware sessions from the primary to the secondary FortiGate. Set to 0 to disable (the default). Range 0 to 3600 seconds.

In some cases, setting a hardware session synchronization scan interval may help keep hardware sessions synchronized between the primary and secondary FortiGates in an FGCP HA cluster. Normally, you would only set a scan interval if the secondary FortiGate in the HA cluster has fewer hardware sessions than the primary.
