Instance type support
You can deploy FortiGate-VM as bring your own license (BYOL) on AliCloud on all available instances that the FortiGate-VM listing on the AliCloud marketplace supports. Supported instances on AliCloud for new deployments may change without notice.

Having at least 4 GB of RAM for proper FortiGate-VM operation is recommended, especially if UTM is enabled.

The c7 instance family supports third-generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable (Ice Lake) processors that deliver a base frequency of 2.7 GHz and an all-core turbo frequency of 3.5 GHz. FortiOS 7.4.2 and later versions support this instance family.
