Deployment

Before you deploy a FortiGate-VM, ensure that you have met the requirements that Preparing for deployment describes and that you have extracted the correct deployment package to a folder on the local computer. See Downloading the FortiGate-VM deployment package.

After you deploy a FortiGate-VM and upload a full license to replace the default evaluation license, you can power on the FortiGate-VM and test connectivity.
