What’s new in FortiDeceptor 2.0.0
The following is a list of new features and enhancements in 2.0.0. For details, see the FortiDeceptor Administration Guide:
Fabric
In 2.0, FortiDeceptor can be integrated with FortiGate to automatically quarantine or block attackers.
Blocking
The Blocking view allows administrators to configure FortiGate integration settings, such as alias name, IP, login user name, password, expiry time in seconds, VDOM, and so on.
Fabric status
The Fabric Status view shows the status of attackers quarantined by integrated FortiGates.
Dashboard
FortiDeceptor 2.0 includes a new widget: Top 10 IPS attacks.
Attack map
In 2.0, the attack map in FortiDeceptor was upgraded to provide the following new functionalities:
- Timeline search by moving the timestamp indicator
- Multiple filter arguments
- Snapshot for node locations and filter settings
FortiGuard
FortiDeceptor 2.0 implemented FDN feature to allow package upgrade via FortiGuard service.
The FortiGuard view allows administrators to upload AV/IDS/ARAE packages manually, configure the server settings for server location, and override the FDN server and the web filter server.
