Introduction

Introduction

The Enterprise Agreement (EA) program is focused on providing operational simplicity and ease of management by focusing on the procurement, deployment, and management of account based support. The EA program's account based support and subscription entitlement allows customers to:

  • Maintain all assets within an account with consistent support and licenses.

  • Have all asset licenses and services for the same, agreed upon period of time.

  • Have the option of future asset and licensing growth.

Therefore, instead of purchasing individual subscriptions and renewals, entitlements are applied at the account level to all assets registered to that account. Likewise, all licenses have the same EA start and end date, thus simplifying license and support management. This secures critical assets and ensures business continuity. Consistent licensing across all Fortinet Inc. account assets also provides better protection than unit by unit licensing.

The EA program includes the Enterprise Level Agreement (ELA) Portal which covers licensing and support for various Fortinet Inc. products. The ELA Portal is used to support, upgrade, and renew FortiEDR software and Priority RMA (PRMA). The ELA Portal is designed to increase security functions and simplify management of security infrastructure. From the ELA Portal, you can:

  • Gain additional perspective on your current licenses, contracts, and entitlements

  • Plan for renewals

  • Control costs

  • Allocate resources effectively

Note

High level contract information is also displayed on the ELA Profile in the Asset Management portal. See ELA profile in the Asset Management Guide.
