What's new in this release
FortiOS 7.0.0 wireless includes the following changes:
- Supports captive portal authentication when an SSID is bridged at L2 via a software switch.
- Enables DHCP Address enforcement for wireless clients.
- Increases the maximum number of supported VLANs in FortiGate 2U and high-end models.

Wireless controller now supports NAC profiles to onboard wireless clients into default VLANs.

Supports FortiAP radios to operate in Service Assurance Management (SAM) mode where a radio can operate as a client and preform tests again other APs to ensure an existing Wi-Fi network can provide acceptable services.
