Powering on the VM from VMware vSphere

Powering on the VM from VMware vSphere

After Installing Security Event Manager Controller with VMware vSphere and Customizing virtual hardware settings with VMware vSphere, you can power on the FortiAnalyzer-BigData-VM.

To power on the VM:
  1. In the vSphere Client, select the VM from the tree menu in the left pane.
  2. From the ACTIONS dropdown, select Power > Power On.

  3. Once it is enabled, click Launch Web Console.

    After some time, the console displays the following prompt:

  4. Ensure mouse focus is on the console and enter any key to install the Security Event Manager Controller.

    This VM instance will be booted with Blade ID set to 2 and Role set to Controller, and will be ready to accept the member to join.

    Once the installation is complete, the system will reboot. The following image displays a console after the system reboot:
