Configuring a global load balance link

Configuring link

To configure a global load balance link:
  1. Go to Global Load Balance > Global Object.
  2. Click the Link tab.
  3. Click Create New to display the configuration editor.
  4. Complete the configuration as described in Global load balance link configuration.
  5. Save the configuration.

Settings Guidelines

Name

Configuration name. Valid characters are A-Z, a-z, 0-9, _, and -. No spaces. You reference this name in the global load balance servers configuration.

Note: After you initially save the configuration, you cannot edit the name.

Data Center

Select a data center from the list.

Note: You must the data center(s) configured ahead of time.

ISP

Select an ISP from the list.

Gateway

Server

Select a server.

Gateway Name

Specify the name of a gateway.

or Select Here

Click the down arrow to select a gateway from the drop-down list.

Note: Use this option only when you already have a list of gateways configured on the server.
