Prepare your entitlements.

Create a product configuration

You can create configurations to define product form factors, service details, and limits. A configuration can be used in multiple entitlements. If a configuration is changed, any entitlements that are connected to the configuration will be updated.

To create a new configuration:

1. Go to Configurations and select New Configuration.

2. Enter a Name for the configuration.

3. Select the Form Factor and Product Type.

   

4. Click Next.

5. Define the configuration parameters. The available parameters are dependent on the product and form factor.

6. Click Next.

7. Confirm the configuration details and click Submit.

Create a product entitlement

You can create a entitlements to manage virtual machine, Cloud, and hardware licenses to be injected into your environment.

To create a new entitlement:

1. Go to Flex Entitlements and click New Flex Entitlement.

   

2. Select the Product Type.

3. Select the Configuration you want to apply to the entitlement.

4. Define other entitlement parameters as needed.

5. Click Next.

6. Confirm the entitlement details and click Submit.
