Central management configuration preservation for factory reset on FortiGate 7.2.4

FortiOS allows for a factory reset while preserving the central management configuration in the CLI with an additional factory reset command. This enhancement ensures uninterrupted connectivity between the FortiGate and FortiManager, enabling the operation of remote actions using FortiManager.

To perform a factory reset:

# execute factoryreset-for-central-management

Once the factory reset is complete, review the settings of central management configuration.

To view the central management configuration after a factory reset:

# show system central-management
config system central-management
    set type fortimanager
    set fmg "172.18.60.115"
