Introduction

FortiPortal enables organizations to operate a cloud-based hosted security management and log retention service.

It provides organizations with centralized reporting, traffic analysis, configuration management, and log retention without the need to invest in additional hardware and software.

This document describes how to use the FortiPortal command line interface (CLI) and contains references for FortiPortal CLI commands.

The FortiPortal CLI is primarily used for initial configuration of the virtual machine. The FortiPortal CLI is similar to the FortiManager CLI, but more limited. While much of the command syntax is the same, there are only a limited number of commands available and only a limited set of configuration may be done through the CLI.
