What is antimalware architecture

Advanced malware protection is a term used by Fortinet to describe a collection of NGFW features/services that work together to provide protection against various forms of malware. Antimalware combines FortiGuard Antivirus service with the FortiSandbox Cloud service into one service offering, providing robust core protection capabilities against today's sophisticated attacks including known threats and unknown threats.

This guide aims to address how and where you can implement AMP in several topologies and use cases, as provided by FortiGate utilizing FortiGuard services.
