This document lists the RFCs that FortiOS 7.0 supports.

This section identifies which version of FortiOS 7.0.x introduces support for various RFCs.

FortiOS 7.0.2

FortiOS 7.0.2 introduces support for the following RFCs:

• RFC 9000: QUIC: A UDP-Based Multiplexed and Secure Transport
• RFC 7606: Revised Error Handling for BGP UPDATE Messages
• RFC 4975: The Message Session Relay Protocol (MSRP)

  Both VoIP and IPS profiles must be configured in the firewall policy, and inspection mode must be flow.

• RFC 8907: The Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus (TACACS+) Protocol

  Support for accounting was added.

FortiOS 7.0.1

FortiOS 7.0.1 introduces support for the following RFCs:

• RFC 5709: OSPFv2 HMAC-SHA Cryptographic Authentication

FortiOS 7.0.0

FortiOS 7.0.0 introduces support for the following RFCs:

• RFC 8555: Automatic Certificate Management Environment (ACME)

  Supported only as a client.

• RFC 8484: DNS Queries over HTTPS (DoH)
• RFC 8310: Usage Profiles for DNS over (D)TLS
• RFC 7597: Mapping of Address and Port with Encapsulation (MAP-E)
• RFC 7541: HPACK: Header Compression for HTTP/2TP/2)
