What's new for hyperscale firewall for FortiOS 6.2.6

The following new hyperscale firewall features have been added to FortiOS 6.2.6:

• Hyperscale firewall features are enabled per VDOM, see Applying the hyperscale firewall activation code or license key.

• Hyperscale firewall VDOMs must follow a specific naming convention, see Creating hyperscale firewall VDOMs.

• New Hyperscale firewall SNMP MIB and trap fields, see Hyperscale firewall SNMP MIB and trap fields.

• Hyperscale firewall features can be enabled per VDOM using a new CLI command, see Enabling hyperscale firewall features.

• Hyperscale firewall policies are available from the GUI and CLI when hyperscale firewall features are enabled , see Hyperscale firewall GUI changes and Hyperscale firewall CLI changes .

• Host logging that uses the FortiGate CPU instead of the NP7 processor for hardware logging, see Configuring hardware logging.

• New hardware logging option: template-tx-timeout; which is a configurable timeout for sending NetFlow template packets, see Configuring hardware logging.

• New hyperscale firewall sniffer command, see NP7 hyperscale firewall packet sniffer.

• Hyperscale firewall inter-VDOM link acceleration, see Hyperscale firewall inter-VDOM link acceleration.
