What's New
FortiCASB 23.1.0 Release Highlights
- Data Protection Discovery has expanded and now supports Salesforce, Office 365, Box, Dropbox, Google Workspace, Egnyte, Github, and Webex cloud applications
- A new consolidated Data Protection Discovery page – Discovery is removed from each of the cloud application dashboards and consolidated into one redesigned Discovery page under “Overview > Data Protection”. The new Discovery page extracts meaningful security insights featuring All Files Overview, Sensitive Files Exposure, and External Collaboration security analysis.
- All Files Overview highlights the top-10 file sharing users across all monitored cloud applications.
- Sensitive Files Exposure lists the top-10 files being accessed across all monitored cloud applications.
- External Collaboration outlines the top-10 domains the cloud application files are shared with.
- Normalized Shared Types – FortiCASB now utilizes a new standardized, “file access type” designed to normalize and group file access permissions across different cloud applications. Normalized Share Types are utilized in both Discovery and Files pages.
- Data Protection File information dashboard – under “Overview > Data Protection” all files across all monitored cloud applications are consolidated into one page to provide central visibility related to file-sharing activity across all supported SaaS applications.
- All cloud applications are supported except SAP IAS and Zoom.
- Besides the inherited file type and data analysis, file distribution by cloud applications has been added to the Files page.
- Documents of each cloud application are retained and now called Files.
- Enhanced Confluence support – By utilizing a Webhook event driven design Confluence SaaS Security monitoring has expanded and added new features: Files, Users, Threat Protection, and Compliance Policies.
- Egnyte, SAP IAS, and ServiceNow - By utilizing a Restful API support, these apps have been expanded and added new features: Files (Egnyte only), Users, Threat Protection, and Compliance Policies
