Open a browser and navigate to the following URL:

Login using the Default FortiNAC Admin UI Credentials
User: root
Password: YAMS

Read the End User License Agreement. Accept the terms and continue.
The License Key window is displayed:
The content within the License Key field is the appliance key. Keys look similar to the following:
FNC:sdfghjkl5678vw/+dfghjkl…Important: The License Key is embedded in the BIOS of the hardware appliance. If the key field is blank, record the appliance Serial Number and contact Fortinet Customer Service for assistance. FortiNAC services will not run without a key.

Close browser.
The next step (Product Registration) requires internet access. If the same computer will be used, disconnect the computer from the Ethernet cable and connect to the internet. Leave the Ethernet cable attached to port1. It will be used in later steps.
