We assume that the reader is familiar with the main concepts of network design, dynamic routing, and security. Working knowledge of Fortinet products is not required (albeit beneficial).

This document does not discuss the benefits of SD-WAN/SD-Branch solutions compared to the traditional WAN/LAN networks; neither does it list competitive advantages offered by Fortinet. We focus on the technical aspects of the Fortinet Secure SD-WAN/SD-Branch Solution design.
