FortiLink setup

Go to WiFI & Switch Controller > FortiLink Interface to create or edit FortiLink interfaces. The available options depend on the FortiGate model.

By automatically creating FortiLink interfaces as a logical aggregate or hard/soft switch, you can modify the FortiLink interfaces. If the physical port in use changes, you do not need to migrate existing policies.

By default, one FortiLink interface can be configured in the GUI. The GUI will display multiple FortiLink interfaces if more than one interface has FortiLink enabled from the CLI.

To enable a physical or aggregate interface as a FortiLink in the CLI:

config system interface
    edit <port>
        set vdom <string>
        set fortilink enable  
    next
end

To configure a FortiLink interface in the GUI:

1. Go to WiFi & Switch Controller > FortiLink Interface (click Create New if more than one interface has FortiLink enabled).
2. Configure the settings as needed.

   

3. Click Apply.
