Configuring a FortiGate as the IdP

To configure a FortiGate as the IdP:
  1. Log in to the FortiGate with the device administrator account.
  2. Go to User & Device > SAML SSO.
  3. Set the Mode to Identity Provider (IdP).
  4. Configure the IdP address and certificate.
  5. Add an SP:
    1. In the Service Providers table, click Create New.
    2. Enter the SP name, prefix, type, and address. Copy the prefix, as you need it when configuring the SP.
    3. Configure other settings as needed.
    4. Click OK.

  6. Click Apply.
