This section explains how to add bootstrapping of FortiGate CLI commands and a BYOL license at the time of initial boot-up as part of instance creation on the OCI GUI console.
To bootstrap FortiGate on the OCI GUI at initial bootup:

config system global
set timezone 03
This example CLI sets the timezone as GMT-9 Alaska. You can replace these lines with your own set of CLI commands.

20 -----BEGIN FGT VM LICENSE-----
21 Replace with your own
22 -----END FGT VM LICENSE-----
Replace these lines with the license file content. FortiGate-VM license content resembles the following:
You will copy and paste this content into the OCI GUI during instance creation in Advanced Options > Management > User data. See steps 2h in Creating the FortiGate instance or 5e in Creating an instance by selecting an OCI partner image.
