Parameters required for autoscale deployment

All parameters below are from Configurable variables.

Parameter name

Description

Subscription Subscription where you want to deploy the template. It is recommended to use the same subscription where you deployed the application and Cosmos database.
instanceType VM instance you want to deploy the FortiGate-VM with. The default is Standard_F2.
sourceImageVhdUri Location of the FortiGate-VM VHD image file. You can put this on an Azure storage blob.
Location UK South. Use this, as the source VHD is in UK South.
Resource group Same as specified in the Azure function application settings, RESOURCE_GROUP.
vnetName Azure virtual network name.
Vnetaddressprefix Virtual network prefix.
Subnet1name Subnet1 name.
Subnet1prefix Subnet1 prefix.
Subnet2name Subnet2 name.
Subnet2prefix Subnet2 prefix.

Subnet2loadbalancerip

Static IP address of the load balancer of the internal load balancer on subnet2.

Subnet3name

Subnet3 name.

Subnet3prefix

Subnet3 prefix.

Public IP Address name

Public IP address name.

Vmss Name

Same as specified in the Azure function application settings, SCALESET_NAME.

Capacity, mincapacity, maxcapacity, scaleupthreshold, scaledownthreshold

Variables for autoscaling parameters. Leave the default values.

Adminusername

FortiGate admin username.

AdminPassword

FortiGate admin user password. This must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character (such as !@#$%). The password must be between 11 and 26 characters in length.

EndPoints

App service endpoint created. The following is an example: https://<example-function-app-service>.azurewebsites.net/api/<example-function-name>

Location where the VMSS post deployment file should be located.
