DHCP Option 82
When DHCP Option 82 is enabled, the controller acts as a DHCP relay agent to avoid DHCP client requests from untrusted sources. This secures the network where DHCP is used to allocate network addresses. The supported DHCP option 82 remote ID field formats are AP-MAC or AP-MAC-SSID.
DHCP option 82 is added in the global controller parameters and VLAN configuration.
Note: This feature is supported on FortiWLC 8.6 and above.
Navigate to Operate > Devices > System Settings > Controller Parameters
Navigate to Configure > Templates > VLAN.
