factoryreset

factoryreset

Use this command to reset the FortiWeb appliance to its default settings for the currently installed firmware version. If you have not upgraded or downgraded the firmware, this restores factory default settings.

Back up your configuration first. This command resets all changes that you have made to the FortiWeb appliance’s configuration file and reverts the system to the default values for the firmware version. Depending on the firmware version, this could include factory default settings for the IP addresses of network interfaces. For details about creating a backup, see 。2backup cli-config.

To use this command, your administrator account’s access control profile must have either w or rw permission to the mntgrp area. For details, see Permissions.
