FortiWeb supports active-passive HA and active-active HA on OCI:
- Active-passive HA: Configure two FortiWeb-VM instances in a HA group synchronizing configuration and sessions. One instance runs as the primary/master, while the other runs as the secondary/slave. When the primary fails to operate, the secondary automatically promotes itself to the primary.
- Active-active HA: Use Load Balancer to achieve active-active HA. Two FortiWeb-VMs can be deployed and registered within a Load Balancer, so that the traffic is balanced between the two. When system failure occurs on either one of the FortiWeb-VMs, the other one handles all the traffic.
We only support two FortiWeb-VMs in an HA group on OCI.
