Log View allows you to view all the logs of managed FortiWeb devices. You can filter the logs with Add Filter icon or view logs by log type, device or device group, or by the period.
FortiWeb Manager does not save the logs to local disk, but obtains them in real time from FortiWeb by the RESTful API.
The following buttons are available for log filtering and view resetting.
|Add Filter||This button allows you to filter the logs by certain categories.|
|Column Settings||Click to select the columns to display or click Reset to Default to display the default columns.|
|Log Type||Three types of logs are supported to view here: Attack Logs, Traffic Logs, and Event Logs. See also Viewing logs.|
|Devices||With All Devices button, you can view logs by Groups or Devices.|
|Time Period||You can select the period to view logs generated in certain time periods; For example, Last 5 Minutes, Last 1 Hour, and Last 1 Day. Also, you can define the period by adding N: value with Last N minutes, Last N Hours, and Last N Days. The maximum vale of N is 999.|
|Reset||Reset allows you to reset all the log query conditions. Filter settings, log type, device or device group, and time periods will all be reset if you click Reset.|
