Logging in and logging out of the FortiVoice user portal

Before you begin

  • After completing the configuration of your extension on the FortiVoice phone system, the system administrator can share details about your account. Take note of the FortiVoice user portal link, your phone extension on FortiVoice and the user password for web access. You will need those details to log in to the FortiVoice user portal.

  • Use one of the recommended web browsers:
    • Google Chrome version 121
    • Microsoft Edge version 120
    • Mozilla Firefox Standard Release version 122
    • Apple Safari version 17

To log in to the FortiVoice user portal

  1. Start a web browser and go to the FortiVoice user portal link.

    The URL format is https://<IP_address>/voice

    Where <IP_address> is the IP address of the FortiVoice phone system.

    If the FortiVoice phone system configuration is using a non-default HTTPS port, then add :<port_number> after the IP address, for example:

    https://<IP_address>:446/voice.

    The web browser prompts you to log in.

    By default, if three failed login attempts occur within three minutes, you're temporarily blocked from logging in to the FortiVoice user portal. You need to wait three minutes before you can try to log in again.

    However, your system administrator can set the login blocking period on the FortiVoice Phone System (Security > Intrusion Detection > Setting).

  2. In Extension, enter your extension.
  3. In Password, enter the user password for your extension.
  4. If you want the user portal to remember your extension and password and use them the next time you log in, click Remember me.
  5. Click Login.

    The main page of the FortiVoice user portal appears.

To log in to the FortiVoice user portal using single sign on

If your FortiVoice system administrator has created a single sign on (SSO) account for you and provided you with the login user name and password, you can log in to the user portal with SSO. This login is usually for the administrators because, with SSO, they can switch between the user portal and the FortiVoice GUI without having to do a second sign in.

  1. Start a web browser and go to the FortiVoice user portal link.
  2. The URL format is https://<IP_address>/voice

    Where <IP_address> is the IP address of the FortiVoice phone system.

    If the FortiVoice phone system configuration is using a non-default HTTPS port, then add :<port_number> after the IP address, for example:

    https://<IP_address>:446/voice.

    The web browser prompts you to log in.

  3. Click Single Sign On.
  4. Enter the username and password associated with your single sign on account.
  5. Click Login.
  6. If the two-factor authentication is set up on your account:
    1. Check your email or mobile phone for the token code.
    2. Enter the token code.
    3. Click Verify.
  7. The main page of the FortiVoice user portal appears.

  8. You can go back to the FortiVoice GUI by clicking the Administrator icon in the top banner.

To log out of the FortiVoice user portal

  1. Click .
  2. Click Log Out.

To log in to the FortiVoice user portal using single sign on

If your FortiVoice system administrator has created a single sign on (SSO) account for you and provided you with the login user name and password, you can log in to the user portal with SSO. This login is usually for the administrators because, with SSO, they can switch between the user portal and the FortiVoice GUI without having to do a second sign in.

To log out of the FortiVoice user portal

  1. Click .
  2. Click Log Out.
