Using the dashboard

Using the dashboard

FortiVoice Cloud > Dashboard displays system statuses, most of which pertain to the entire system.

The table below describes the widgets and fields in the dashboard:

Widget and field

Description

Deploy FortiVoice

Status

Displays the status of the FortiVoice Cloud instance as Deployed. If the status is Undeployed, see the FortiVoice Cloud Deployment Guide to complete the deployment.

Serial Number

The serial number of the FortiVoice Cloud instance.

Trunk Service

Displays if the trunk service is active.

You require at least one direct inward dialing (DID) number and an emergency zone to activate the trunk service which allows users to call external numbers in the PSTN (public switched telephone network) or PLMN (public land mobile network).

To go directly to the DID management page, click .

Toll-Free

Displays the number of toll free numbers.

This service involves charges. To set up this service, see Setting up a billing profile.

International Calling

Enable or disable the international calling service.

This service involves charges. To set up this service, see Setting up a billing profile.

Syncing Voice User to Chat

Synchronizes user extensions with Fortinet Identity and Access Management (IAM) to give users access to the Chat functions on the FortiFone softclient for mobile.

Before synchronizing, make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • Every user extension includes an email address. On the FortiVoice Admin Portal, see Extension > Extension > IP Extension, Email Addresses.
  • User extensions have standard or premium access.

If you want to see the progress of the Chat deployment after initiating the synchronization, access the Message Center, go to the Pending Tasks list, and select Chat Deploy Status. For information about accessing the Message Center, see Navigating the GUI.

Go to FortiVoice admin portal

Gives access to another GUI that allows you to fully configure and administer your FortiVoice Cloud instance. For more information, see the FortiVoice Cloud Advanced Administration Guide.

Licenses

Displays information about your licenses including quantity, start dates, and expiry dates.

FortiVoice Cloud synchronizes with FortiCare on license updates. If you upload new licenses to FortiCare, there are three ways you can synchronize licenses on FortiVoice Cloud:

  • Click Sync licenses . FortiVoice Cloud shows the updated licenses immediately.
  • Log out and log in again. FortiVoice Cloud shows the updated licenses.
  • Do nothing and wait for 12 hours. FortiVoice Cloud shows the updated licenses.

Uptime

Displays the FortiVoice Cloud system uptime over the past 60 days by using a percentage.

To access a calendar that shows the daily uptime levels for your FortiVoice Cloud instance, click View historical uptime. The following list includes the uptime level legend:

Call Summary

Displays the calls processed by FortiVoice Cloud, including number of calls, dates, and call directions.
