Install the root certificate onto the domain controller

Install the root certificate into the domain controller’s trusted root certificates store.

  1. On the domain controller server, launch MMC f rom the command line and open the console.

  2. Go to File > Add/Remove Snap-in to add the certificate.

  3. Select Computer Account and select Next.

  4. Leave the default Local Computer selected and select Finish.

  5. Select OK.

  6. Expand Certificates.

  7. Right-click on Trusted Root Certification Authorities.

  8. Select All Tasks > Import.

  9. Use the Import Wizard to browse to the root certificate you exported from the FortiAuthenticator.
