Creating DNS host group
Some of the cases require DNS hosts to look up the IP address of a domain name. You can create a DNS host group and add DNS hosts in it, then reference the host group when creating test cases.
To add DNS servers:
- Go to Cases > Performance Testing > Objects > hosts.
- Click Create New.
- Enter a name for the DNS host.
- Click OK.
- Click Create New under Host Management.
- Enter the hostname and its IP address.
- Click OK.
- Repeat step 5 to 7 if you want to add more hosts.
To add DNS host groups:
- Go to Cases > Performance Testing > Objects > Host Groups.
- Click Create New.
- Enter a name for the host group.
- Click OK.
- Click Create New under Host Group Management.
- Select the device, the port and the host you have created in Cases > Performance Testing > Objects > hosts.
- Click OK.
You can later reference the host group when you create test cases.
