License renewal notification

The FortiSASE license renewal notification keeps administrators informed about upcoming license expiries, enabling them to renew their licenses promptly to ensure uninterrupted security services. The FortiSASE portal alerts users of impending license renewals through an on-login prompt and a bell icon notification in the toolbar.

Administrators can disable license renewal notification by selecting Do not remind me again in the on-login prompt or clicking the cross icon on the renewal notice under the bell icon, which stops further notifications.

For Standard, Advanced, and Comprehensive licenses, notifications appear 30 days prior to license expiration. FortiSASE presents accounts enrolled in FortiAP 431F promotions with a notification to upgrade to a production license only if their current license is valid through December 31, 2024.

Based on the customer’s existing license entitlements, FortiSASE displays upgrade and add-on recommendations such as Secure Access to Private Applications, Seamless Thin-edge Protection, Enhanced Endpoint Diagnostics, and Dedicated Public IP to enhance and expand customer’s security coverage.
