Azure Blob Storage

1. Set up the container for FSA on Azure

  1. Log into the Azure Portal and go to the Storage Account for FortiSandbox.
  2. In left menu, click Containers then click the + Container icon to create a new container:

    For Public access level, you can select either Blob or Container.

  3. Go to Access policy > Add policy and locate the to the newly created container.
  4. Under Permissions select Read and Write permissions, then click Save.

2. Setup the Azure Blob Storage on FSA

  1. On FortiSandbox go to Security Fabric > Network Share.
  2. The following Azure Blob Storage settings are available when creating a new Network Share, Quarantine, and Job Archive:

    Mount TypeSelect Azure Blob Storage.
    Domain of the Share URLEnter the URL of the storage account which ends with .net. For example, https://storage_account.blob.core.windows.net. This can be found on the Properties page of the container (see the image below).
    Container NameEnter the container name.
    Name of the Storage AccountEnter the name of the Storage Account.

    Access Key of the Account

    Enter the Access Key of the Storage Account.

  1. On FortiSandbox go to Security Fabric > Network Share.
  2. The following Azure Blob Storage settings are available when creating a new Network Share, Quarantine, and Job Archive:

    Domain of the Share URLEnter the URL of the storage account which ends with .net. For example, https://storage_account.blob.core.windows.net. This can be found on the Properties page of the container (see the image below).
    Container NameEnter the container name.

    Access Key of the Account

    Enter the Access Key of the Storage Account.
