Introduction

This document explains the process to run FortiSandbox in air-gapped (or closed) network mode when internet connectivity is not available. The process includes the FortiManager devices and explains the following:

Devices offline licensing
Offline updates
Initializing Microsoft VMs including Microsoft office licenses

The following firmware versions are used for the devices:

Device/Platform	Version Number and Build
FortiSandbox VM	V4.2.0 GA build 0192
FortiManager VM	V7.2.0 GA build 1124

Please refer to the respective Release Notes when using a newer firmware version of FortiSandbox. For example, FortiSandbox v4.0.0 is only compatible to FortiManager v 6.4.6 or later.
