    What's new

    New features and enhancements are included in the FortiRecon 24.2.0 release.

    New features

    The following new capabilities are included:

    • The new Internal Attack Surface Management (IASM) module enhances attack surface management with internal asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, and web application analysis.

    • The Brand Protection > Take Down page features a revamped UI, streamlining the takedown process.

    • The Brand Protection > Domain Threats page now includes a Safelist feature and filter, allowing you to exclude specific domains from FortiRecon monitoring.

    • The Overview page now includes a download option, allowing you to export combined dashboard data from Attack Surface Management, Brand Protection, and Adversary Centric Intelligence modules.

    • The EASM module now identifies and accurately categorizes several exposed management services for improved security posture assessment. This includes refined detection and severity ratings for WinRM, WSD, BGP, Daytime/Time Protocols, iperf3, and PPTP.
