Configuring a proxy address
Proxy address firewall objects support IPv6 addresses. |
To configure a proxy address:
- Go to Security > Firewall Objects.
- Select Proxy Address in the firewall object type dropdown.
- Click Create or select an existing proxy address from the list and click Edit.
- In the form, enter the following information:

Name
Required. Enter a name for the proxy address.
Color
Select the color used for this object in lists.
Type
Required. Select a type from the following options in the dropdown:
Host Regex Match
URL Pattern (default)
URL Category
HTTP Method
User Agent
HTTP Header
Avanced (Source)
Advanced (Destination)

Host
Required. Select an address or address group.
Note: This option is not available when the Type is Host Regex Match.
Host Regex Match
Required. Enter the hostname as a regular expression.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is Host Regex Match.
URL Path Regex
Required. Enter the URL path as a regular expression.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is URL Pattern or Advanced (Destination).
URL Category
Select the URL category to match.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is URL Category or Advanced (Destination). This field is required when the Type is URL Category.
Request Method
Select the HTTP request method to match.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is HTTP Method or Advanced (Source). This field is required when the Type is HTTP Method.
User Agent
Select the browser user agent to match.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is User Agent or Advanced (Source). This field is required when the Type is User Agent.
Header Name
Required. Enter the HTTP header name to match.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is HTTP Header.
Header Regex
Required.Enter the HTTP header value as a regular expression.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is HTTP Header.
Header Group
Enter Name and Value pairs for one or more HTTP headers.
Note: This option is only available when the Type is Advanced (Source).
Comments
Enter comments.
- Click Save.
