Properties
The Adapter Properties view provides access to detailed information about a single adapter. From this view you can access the associated user's properties by clicking on the User tab or the associated host by clicking on the Host tab. Adapter properties also provides access to the Device Identity tab. See Endpoint Fingerprints.
- Select Users & Hosts > Adapters.
- Search for the appropriate adapter.
- Select the adapter and either right-click.
- From the menu, select Adapter Properties.

IP address |
IP address assigned to the adapter. This field displays the last known IP address until a new one is found. If the adapter no longer has an IP address, the last known IP will continue to display. |

Physical Address |
MAC address of the adapter. |

Location |
Switch and port where the adapter is connected to the network. |

Media Type |
Indicates whether this is a wired or wireless adapter. |

Adapter Status |
Radio buttons indicating whether the adapter is Enabled or Disabled. To enable or disable the adapter, click the appropriate button and then click Apply. |

Description |
Free form notes section for the administrator. |

Apply |
Saves changes to the adapter properties. |
|
Reset |
Resets the values in the Adapter Properties window to their previous settings. This option is only available if you have not clicked Apply. |
