Delete a device type
System device types cannot be deleted.

Click System > Settings.

Expand the Identification folder and click Device Types.

Select the device type you wish to delete. Click In Use to confirm whether the device type is in use. Device types that are currently in use cannot be deleted.

Click Delete.

A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes to delete the device type.
