Geomap

Geomap

Use the Geomap widget to display a rollup of incident counts by geographic location. Similar to other widgets, the Geomap widget can be scoped by instance (tag, group, or name) and by metric type. Geographic location data is entered on an instance’s Details tab in the Instance Location field.

Each geographic location is represented by a color-coded marker that shows the number of incident for that particular region. The color of the marker is based on the severity of the incidents (Warning or Critical).

Clicking on the marker opens a panel that displays the following information:

  • Coordinates of the location

  • The devices on the location and their individual status

  • The number of active incidents

  • Incident details

Configuration

When creating or editing a widget, a drawer that shows the widget's configuration options slides out from the right. Each configurable option is described in the following table.

Before creating the widget, make sure to set the Instance Location for each of the instance that you want to display on the Geomap. For more information, see Instance Details page
