Single Metric
Use the Single Metric widget to highlight a specific metric value. Choose from different aggregate functions, like average, minimum, or maximum throughout a specific time range or choose to show the live value.
Use case
The Single Metric widget is useful when:

you want a live view of the aggregated value of a single metric in an instance

you want to display the aggregated value of a single metric over a specified time range
Examples
Average ping
The single metric widget shows the average ping of an application server in the last 24 hours.
Aggregated maximum CPU utilization
In this example, the widget shows the maximum CPU utilization of an AWS instance in the last 6 hours. The Availability option is also enabled.
Configuration
When creating or editing a widget, a drawer that shows the widget's configuration options slides out from the right. Each configurable option is described in the following table.

Widget name |
Name of the widget as it appears on the dashboard. This field shows the default name of the widget. Select the pen icon to rename the widget. |
Metrics |
The selected metric's value is displayed on the widget. Use the search field to search for specific metrics. |
Show availability |
Enable this option to display the historical availability of the selected metric. |
Aggregation |
Aggregated data can be calculated based on the following values: Values:

Time Range |
Shows the live or aggregated metric value of a metric based on the selected time range. Values:

Dashboard Scoping Adherence |
Enabling this option will allow you to bypass Dashboard-level scoping. |
